GSIB MBA program structure
A message of the Dean

All GSIB MBA programs are taught in Russian. 
GSIB may admit foreign citizens who have graduated from Russian higher learning institutions or foreign educational establishments whose diplomas are recognized (“nostrified”) in the Russian Federation. Also the applicants should be free in Russian language.

Students are admitted to GSIB in keeping with the School Regulations containing the Rules for Admission to the Graduate School of International Business on MBA programs.

Admitted to GSIB MBA program are managers and specialists having, as a rule, at least three-year work experience and having chosen a managerial career to supplement their basic profession. 

Applicants to the Part-time MBA, Full-time MBA and Modular MBA submit the following documents:

  • application addressed to the ANE Rector;
  • statement of personal particulars;
  • higher education diploma of the state-established format, as well as documents (if available) certifying the applicant’s academic degree (Candidate of Science) in the original;
  • four 3 x 4 ñì photos;
  • document certifying the applicant’s identity and citizenship; 
  • copy of the foreign passport (only for applicants seeking admission to the Modular MBA that provides for approbation abroad).

Considering that the Mgt/econ MBA enrolls specialists who have already received a managerial (economic) education diploma and have previous work experience, the applicants must submit the following documents: 

        • higher economic or managerial education diploma (with the attachment), or 
        • another higher education diploma (with the attachment) listing studied disciplines. This should be supplemented with a diploma of professional training in economics, business or management given graduates from the Federal Executive Development Program (with the attachment) and containing a list of studied disciplines, or a government or non-government diploma given students on completing their studies on MBA programs  in state-accredited institutions (with the attachment).   

 

Admission to the GSIB MBA program is competitive and includes three stages:

  • Analysis of candidate applications and documents
  • Interview
  • Analysis of the results of testing, written replies, computer and professional tests.

Applicants must pass: 

    • Interview
    • Entrance management computer tests (only for students of the Mgt/econ MBA)
    • Professional (managerial) capacity assessment tests (for all)
    • An essay (required to be written by all applicants, except for those seeking to enter the Modular MBA)
